Stump grinding isn’t seasonal — it’s ground-condition dependent.
There’s no real off-season for grinding. The main thing that slows a job down is very wet, soft ground underfoot.
We cleared an old macrocarpa shelter row and were left with six stumps along the fence line. They quoted per stump up front, no surprises on the day, and left the grindings for us to use as mulch like we asked.
