If it’s tight, there are usually options. A removable gate panel is a cheap fix that pays for itself over a season. Where there’s genuinely no way through, we quote the job at walk-behind rates instead of discovering it on site.

A ride-on doesn’t replace edge work. We still walk the garden borders and fence lines on foot afterward — that part of the job is identical whichever machine did the open ground.
Tauriko runs from a settled rural-edge core to sections still being built out today.
An established Tauriko property usually has a defined lawn shape, mature borders, and a gate that’s been the same width for decades — easy to assess once. A new-build section on the newer subdivisions is a different job: the section boundaries can still be finding their final shape, fencing is sometimes only part-finished, and the ground itself may still be settling.
We assess the actual section, not the address. A brand-new subdivision lot and an older Tauriko property a street apart can need entirely different machines.

We recommend the machine, not just book what you asked for. If a walk-behind is genuinely quicker and cheaper for your lawn, we’ll say so upfront.
